Matt Ryd - Billie Jean (Casio Core Remix)

www.twitter.com www.facebook.com www.myspace.com An MP3 of the song (and all my other YouTube covers) was sent to my mailing list! Are you interested yet? Click here to get - no spam, just free music: eepurl.com I love this song, and I thought it would be fun to do a cover with only retro instruments (especially from the 1980s)! What you see is the result of a compulsive need to strange instruments to buy off of eBay! The tools presented are: Casio DG-10 Digital ToyGuitar (to generate an octave pedal run through the bass used. Also for lead in Verse 2) Casio SK-1 sampling keyboard (used for strings and brass) Dubreq Stylophone (for electric guitar riffs) Suzuki omnichord electric autoharp ( run by a resonator plug-in to add texture) The drums are samples from the SK-1 and DG-10, triggered by the rock band controller. This is a "video song"-style vid inspired by the video by Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn, and Pomplamoose Joel Cathey. If you do notseen their videos are still start monitoring! And buy their music!
